NTC to Attend 4th Meeting of Joint Working Group and Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum in Baku

Noor Trading Company (NTC) is pleased to announce our participation in the 4th Meeting of the Joint Working Group and Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum, scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, on September 16, 2024. This event represents a significant opportunity for NTC to engage in business-to-business (B2B) interactions and explore new trade opportunities with Azerbaijani businesses and industries.

Organized by the Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), the forum follows the recent visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Pakistan in July 2024. During this visit, several important trade agreements were signed, including the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) and the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Transit Trade Agreement (TTA). These agreements aim to strengthen bilateral trade ties and enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.

Representing Pakistan’s Diverse Export Sectors

The Minister of Commerce will lead a high-level delegation of exporters and representatives from various chambers and associations to attend this important forum. The delegation will comprise representatives from a range of sectors, including:

  • Rice, Fruits & Vegetables, and Processed Food
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Surgical Instruments
  • Plastics
  • Glass Products & Ceramics
  • Leather Goods
  • Apparel and Home Textiles
  • Transport and Logistics

As a key player in the export of pharmaceuticals, surgical goods, food supplements, and other commodities, NTC is honored to be part of this delegation. Our participation in the forum reflects our commitment to exploring new markets and expanding our global reach. We look forward to engaging in fruitful discussions with Azerbaijani businesses and exploring new avenues for collaboration.

Strengthening Bilateral Trade Relations

The Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum will provide a platform for Pakistani and Azerbaijani businesses to discuss potential trade opportunities and establish long-term partnerships. The signing of the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) and Transit Trade Agreement (TTA) earlier this year has paved the way for increased bilateral trade, reduced tariffs on key commodities, and streamlined trade processes between the two countries.

“At NTC, we are always looking for new opportunities to expand our market presence and bring our high-quality products to new regions,” said the CEO of Noor Trading Company. “The Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum is an excellent platform for us to showcase our diverse product range, understand the needs of the Azerbaijani market, and establish valuable business connections.”

Looking Ahead

NTC’s participation in the 4th Meeting of the Joint Working Group and Business Forum aligns with our strategic vision of expanding our global footprint and enhancing our network of international partners. We are excited about the potential opportunities this event will bring and are committed to strengthening our business relationships with Azerbaijani counterparts.

We look forward to a successful and productive visit to Baku and are eager to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on enhancing trade relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
